The cozy life that Mayara had grown accustomed to has now been demolished right before her very eyes. Once the most respected Technical Combat Advisor (basically a ninja) at the highly-regarded Department of Unusual Activities in São Paulo, now she's learned that she was just seconds away from being exonerated. But thanks to her long time mentor and old friend, Salgado, she was able to be transferred out to the same Department in another state in Brazil. Don't get it wrong though, she was investigating into things she shouldn't have stuck her nose in. Now in the Capital of Ceará, Mayara meets Annabelle. And you best believe, Annabelle's not happy about the news of her new transfer buddy either. Technical Advisor in Magic and (previously) the only employee of SECAFC CE besides the Department head himself, all she wanted was an intern to fill out the reports of her super glorious achievements--which aren't even that special. And now she's going to share the space in the muggy and super tiny office room with a ninja transfer. Ugh. The inevitable friction that arises when they meet must be put aside when a threat that hasn't been seen for nearly twenty years emerges in Fortaleza without any apparent explanation.
