- This video takes viewers to visit Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Caroline, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas. Students will see crocodiles and alligators, take a ride on a steamboat at down the mighty Mississippi River and go hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. They will also meet local people, hear from a peanut farmer, learn about the history, natural resources and culture of the region, and sample some delicious Southeastern foods like barbecue and pecan pie. Music lovers will enjoy listening to the blues, country and western, and zydeco
